mikemohnacky Everything I love about DS and nothing I don't. It could be just me but it sounds like they did something a little different with their overall mix. Whatever they did, it sounds great.

Just Maz A more direct and hard hitting album than the bands previous efforts. The lyrics (imo) touch on lockdown, climate anxiety and in the case of 'Old Soul' frustrated nostalgia. The instrumentals work nicely to complement without getting too out there for those not so down with the band's math rock roots. Throw this on when the weight of the world makes you want to thrash your arms about. Every song achieves a cathartic climax which is ultimately what I've come to appreciate about Delta Sleep.

Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics.
